Ronald M. “Ron” Hinderman, 55, a resident of the Vernonia community, died Tuesday morning, January 6, 2015 at The Grove Assisted Living Facility in Forest Grove.

Private Cremation Rites will be held at Hoyt Crematory in Forest Grove.

RONALD MICHAEL “RON” HINDERMAN was born on July 17, 1959 in Wallace, Idaho, the son of the late Benjamin Ryder and Lena Mae (Purcell) Hinderman. He was raised and received his education in the Wallace community, having been a graduate with the Wallace High School Class of 1977.

He worked as a medical  aide for twenty-five years in the healthcare industry. Ron had worked for the past thirteen years for the The Gardens Enhanced Care Community in Forest Grove, until he was recently forced to retire because of ill health.

Among his special interests, Ron enjoyed gardening, landscaping and water gardening.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin R. and Lena M. Hinderman and his sister, Jeanette M. Hood, on January 4, 2015.

Survivors include his three siblings and their spouses, Patti and Bill Wolfe, of Bandon, Oregon; Gary and Karen Hinderman, of Bellingham, Washington and Jim and Lorie Hinderman, of Colorado.

Also surviving are his two nieces and six nephews.

The family suggests that remembrances may be contributions to Care Partners Hospice, 900 SE Oak Street, #202, Hillsboro, Oregon 97123, in his memory.
