Nathan died in a car accident at the age of 35. He was born in Portland to John and Natalie Jackson.
Nathan graduated from Southwest Christian High School in 1998, he went on to graduate from the NECA-IBEW Local 48 commercial electrician training program. As skilled journeyman, he practiced his trade in Multnomah County and surrounding areas. He would always make himself available to help others no matter what the task. As a young adult Nathan developed a passion for bow hunting and devoted much of his free time to this pursuit. He felt at home in the forests of the Pacific Northwest and was often out scouting.
In 2008 Nathan married Annie, the love of his life. They bought their dream home near Vernonia, Oregon, a bucolic river front house where he could walk out his back door and hike into the forested hills. Nathan and Annie shared a special 7th anniversary on January 12th. He died the following evening.
Although Nathan and his wife Annie were new to the Vernonia area they immediately got involved with their small community and served for awhile on the Mist/Birkenfeld Rural Volunteer Fire Department. Read More
