Robert Thomas “Bob” Brady, Jr.-Obituary

obit- Brady-Color-webRobert T. “Bob” Brady, Jr., a former resident of the Vernonia community, late of Portland, died Saturday morning, August 30, 2013 at the Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center in Tualatin.

A Graveside Service was  held on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Vernonia Memorial Cemetery, 2080 Bridge Street in Vernonia.

Family and friends were invited to attend a reception immediately following the cemetery rites to be held at Anderson Park, 450 Jefferson Avenue in Vernonia.

ROBERT THOMAS “BOB” BRADY, JR. was born on December 14, 1953 in Lebanon, Oregon, the son of Robert T. Brady, Sr. and Dorothy Elliott. He was raised and received his education in the Vernonia community, having been a graduate with the Vernonia High School Class of 1972. Following his graduation he attended Portland State University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.

He was united in marriage to Sherrie Hinkle on August 28, 1984 in Vancouver, Washington. They celebrated their 30th Wedding Anniversary two days before Bob’s passing. Following their marriage they made their home in the Portland community, where he had resided since.

Bob worked as a Product Manager for T.E. Connectivity in Wilsonville for 16 years.

Among his special interests he enjoyed listening to music and reading books.

Bob is preceded in death by his father, Robert T. Brady, Sr.

Survivors include his wife, Sherrie Brady, of Portland, Oregon; his daughter, Anne Brady, of Portland, Oregon; his thee step-children, Matthew Blanchard and his wife Kim, of  Elmira, Washington; Alvin Munce, of Portland, Oregon and Christina Munce, of Spokane, Washington; his mother, Dorothy Ray, of Forest Grove, Oregon; his brother, Kip Brady, of Forest Grove, Oregon and his two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Ed Willer, of Forest Grove, Oregon and Jerry and Carl Duyn, of Forest Grove, Oregon. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
