Diana Rose Rochester, 65, of Vernonia, Oregon died on February 18, 2013, at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center of a sudden infection.
She was born on June 9, 1947 in Hillsboro, Oregon to Patricia and John Kahn. Diana graduated from Franklin High School in Portland, Oregon. She was married to Thomas Albert Rochester in 1992.
Diana has lived in Portland, Seattle, and surrounding areas including most recently Vernonia, Forest Grove, and Banks. She worked for the Oregonian in sales, and loved knitting, listening to old malt shop music, and was a huge fan of the Beatles. Diana was a deeply spiritual woman with a belief in karma.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Rochester of Vernonia, Oregon; her son, Damian Ross of Kent, Washington; her daughter, Cassandra Rochester-Armstrong of Vernonia, Oregon; her grandchild, Jeremiah Ross of Kent, Washington; her mother, Patricia Kahn of Milwaukie, Oregon; and siblings Mike Kahn and Cindy Pense of Portland, Oregon. She is preceded in death by her father, John Kahn, in 1995 and brother, Dan Kahn, in 2008.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Saturday, February 23, 2012 at the Providence Cemetery in Scio, Oregon, with Pastor Gary Turner of the Lacomb Bible Church officiating.
