Autumn C. “Candy” Waldrop, 31 a resident of the Vernonia community, died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at her home.
AUTUMN CANDICE BAILEY “CANDY” WALDROP was born on August 29, 1981 in Medford, Oregon, they daughter of David L. and Mary C. (Johnson) Bailey. She was raised and received her education in the Medford community, having been a graduate with North Medford High School Class of 2000.
She was united in marriage to Gerald Neil “Gerry” Waldrop on February 17, 2002 in Reno, Nevada. They would have celebrated their eleventh wedding anniversary this February. Following their marriage, they made their home in the community of Yuma, Arizona while Gerry served in the military. They later resided in the communities of Medford and Hillsboro, before making their home in the Vernonia community in 2005, where they have resided since.
Among her special interests, Candy enjoyed crocheting, traveling, going for drives, spending time with others and caring for her cats, “Tackoya” and” Ebbony”.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Neil “Gerry” Waldrop, of the family home in Vernonia, Oregon, her parents, David and Mary Bailey, of Medford, Oregon and her two sisters, Paris Bailey, of Medford, Oregon and Hiedei Bailey, of Medford, Oregon.
Also surviving is her niece, Saoirse Chloe Bailey-McGuire and her aunts and uncles, Polly and Jim Bailey, and Sheila and Rodney Bailey, all of Medford, Oregon.
The family suggests that remembrances may be contributions to the Bonnie L. Hays Small Animal Shelter, 1901 SE 24th Avenue, Hillsboro, Oregon 97123, in her memory.
